Flyye - good or bad?
5 December, 2013, 02:48
hi y'all - looking to buy a full load out by Flyye industries.
wanted to get some feedback from some of you that have their gear
are they a good make company? or just another cheap chines company.
are they really military standard like they claim? does their gear last in the field?
any answers will be much appreciated -
merry Christmas and happy hunting

Re: Flyye - good or bad?
Really like the quality of Flyye gear. It's certainly comparable to some of the real deal gear I also own. The only downside I see with Flyye is cost, certainly new. For the same as some of the Flyye kit costs new, I can get Eagle kit in very good condition second hand for the same money, if not less.
For example, I was looking at the RRV. A brand new Flyye one was £144, a second hand Eagle one was £80 (and that's before making the guy an offer)

Re: Flyye - good or bad?
I picked up a brand new flyye m4 chest rig, the non molle lightweight one.
Its a cracking bit of kit that at the time was 29 quid, you can't even pick up a webtex or viper for that.
Good build quality, should easily stand up to skirmish use.

Re: Flyye - good or bad?
Most of my gear is Flyye or Pantac and I think the quality is great and I usually get it at a good price too. Definitely not chinese knock off.

Re: Flyye - good or bad?
I recently bought a flyye delta vest as I was annoyed with my 2 plate carriers being very bulky and inflexible, I have to say it's an awesome bit of kit for £80, has hydration bladder inside the back panel and comes supplied with it! Very adjustable and super comfortable, I also run a flyye drop leg panel which, unlike most, doesn't actually move around or flap like a wounded pigeon on your leg, have ordered some other pouches this week from them too as, for the money I can't seem to fault any of it
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Re: Flyye - good or bad?
Absolutely ragged my flyye wsh rig for 18 months, was a very good bit of kit. Moved to a warrior plate carrier as I preferred the design of it

Re: Flyye - good or bad?
Flyye is easily comparible to some real issue kit, Thier RRV's are £60 if you know where to find them. I've been running mine for two years now, not a stitch missing, very adjustable, extremely comfortable.
