Question about new hop up..
18 January, 2014, 14:17
I have received my new up chamber and all the rest of it for my gun. I was just wondering if when I'm putting it in to my gun if it needs to have any grease/lubricant applied to it?
Thanks,

Re: Question about new hop up..
(Speaking from some experience of lubing pistols and GBB Rifles) I would say try to get no lubricant on the inside of the rubber, as it can affect hop but I think you might have to lube some of the outside of the actual hop up system for easier fitment. Don't take my word as 100% though.

Re: Question about new hop up..
bit of silicone oil on the outside of the hop rubber to seal it against the hop unit, a bit on the outside of the inner barrel forward of the window for the hop to protrude into to seal it up again, thats it
If it feels a bit loose wrap PTFE tape around the forward end of the rubber and re-insert it into the hop unit
