I store (and charge) mine in an old ammo tin

Should it all go pete tong, I'd just close the lid and it's sealed

Quick phone call and changed them to the Vapex 1300, thanks for the heads up on that.

I do have the ASCU fire control computer in the stock tube so I do lose some space granted....but yes, the 1450's are longer. Not by much, but there is a size difference.

I just received the turnigy accucell 6 charger but I forgot about the cables to charge it.

Do I need the small tamiya to banana plugs? Or do I need another one for the small connector next to the tamiya coming off the LIPO?

            Cheers

Mine came with banana to male deans and then a female deans to croc clips. If I charge my mini tamiya battery I just insert the croc clips into the tamiya connector and it charges fine

If you're charging a lipo, you need to make sure the balance lead is connected to the balance port on the charger. Because the balance leads on batteries are quite short, I had an extension cable made up

How would you insert the crocodile clip into the tamiya connector? Confused a bit sorry.

Also the charger hasn't come with a power adapter grrrrrrrrrrrrr... what power adapters do you need for these things?

Only half of it fits so open the clip and insert 1 half of it down inside the plug. Do the same for the other side but away from the other one so there's no chance of them touching

I use an old IBM laptop power supply I had spare

So any ideas what I would need if I don't have a laptop power supply hanging around?

I don't fancy splitting plugs etc, I guess I could just pick up the cable instead.

Re: LIPO and charger for a VFC 416D

Picked up a Female XT60 To Male Mini Tamiya Connector Plug Adapter Converter Cable to convert the cable that came with the charger.

And I've asked the IT department to dig out a old laptop charger for me. I'll see what I get.

Thanks for the help so far!

Well the only one that I could find that would fit is the following:

12v 4amps which is a little low amps wise? Reckon this will be okay?
