Imax B6 Charger - Large Tamiya Battery
26 February, 2014, 22:22
Hi there,
Brand new to airsoft, and have been buying up my base kit. Recently my Imax B6 charger arrived and it appears to not have a cable that will charge my large tamiya battery. Firstly, it would be great if somebody could tell me whether this is normal (I purchased the geniuine charger) and secondly, if I need to buy an additional cable, what they would suggest?
I've attached a picture of all the cables and the battery if that helps diagnose what I need.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks Mickydoos. I bought the one suggested.

It's a little more expensive, but it has more cables than the cheaper one, so probably better to futureproof myself in this case.
Thanks again.

I thought I had read somewhere that you could use the crocodile clips for the tamiya connector.

Re: Imax B6 Charger - Large Tamiya Battery
Mine came with large tamiya, then all the adapters connect to that. Thus proving mine is fake. It still charges though!
OP: If you have a spare large tamiya to connect into the batteries then just cut one of the leads you do not use and solder/heatshrink the connector on.
I would not use crocodile clips long term as the chance to touch and short the battery is a risk that seems unnecessary
