  • TM VSR-10 G-SPEC Questions

What spring should I need to reach a Shade under 500FPS? (I want to play it safe)

Is the PSS10 Hop-Up unit essential or is the stock TM good enough?

Are the PSS10 Spring guide stopper and Trigger sear 100% Essential?

Does the G-SPEC version come with the Rail to mount any Optics/Scopes?

Do I need anymore upgrades apart from the following... (all PSS10)

    Spring Guide
    Spring Guide Stopper
    Reinforced Teflon coated Cylinder
    High Pressure Piston
    Cylinder Head
    Piston Sear
    Trigger Sear
    Damper Pads
    Barrel Spacers
    Tightbore Barrel (6.03mm)

    Is all that essential?

    Thanks.

    Re: TM VSR-10 G-SPEC Questions

You don't need to upgrade the hop unit, but a new hop rubber would be good for 500fps, try the firefly hard hop rubber... Trigger sear and piston sear upgrade are 100% needed, but you could spend a little bit more and get a zero tirgger (or search on arnies for a guy called Noobie, as he has developed an 'm trigger' which by all accounts is better than the zeron...) Nothing else is absolutely neccesary, but i would recomend putting a TB barrel in there and upgrading the rest when you have the money, also, search on google and other forums for guides as to the home mods you can do, as these will improve performance greatly...
    Thanks.

      Re: TM VSR-10 G-SPEC Questions

      Firstly, check here

The TM hop should be fine.

The spring guide stopper is fine in mine, I think it's actually a JG one. I've had a spare laylax one of ages though, just in case.

I'm fairly certain the trigger sears are an essential for a kind of lasting performance. It can bump fire really easy if your sears wear and can't hack the spring, which isn't particularly safe.

Some of your upgrades are the ULTIMATE parts, personally I'd invest in a zero trigger ASAP.
