G&G GR15 Buffer Tube removal
16 March, 2014, 14:29
Okay so I have the crane stock off and have removed the Philips screw inside holder the bigger tube to the upper receiver, but there is a metal disk with a small hole, only big enough for the wire to fit through down the buffer tube. I need to get the buffer tube off...
Do I need to cut the wires? Or does anyone know if I can knock the metal disk out of place?

Re: G&G GR15 Buffer Tube removal
That partial disc isn't fixed in place, at least I've never seen one fixed in place and most AEGs use that mounting method for AR buffer tubes. If you've got a long enough screwdriver there to have loosed the screw then in theory just tipping up the gun should make that screw drop out and allow the plate to move around, just wrangle it around a bit and it should spin.

I've removed the tamiya connector with a paperclip, which did the trick! And the plate halfway up the buffer tube? I might have to try and knock it around then
Thanks for the reply!
