Pivoting Barrel Mounted Bipod
8 April, 2014, 13:22
So, I've had a look around and found a heap load of barrel mounted bipods on google.
One issue - looking at them, none of them look as though they pivot L-R, which is needed on a support weapon.
Ideally, I want a cheap'n'cheerful one.
Advice?

Re: Pivoting Barrel Mounted Bipod
The bipod will need some sort of extra linkage to enable this and I think you will narrow your search somewhat if you are only going for barrel mounting. My Harris bipod is dual piccy and sling mount, not cheap I know but I get pivot AND cant, which is great for uneven ground, enabling a proper recticule picture.

Re: Pivoting Barrel Mounted Bipod
I did find side-mounted ris bipods (on on each side rail).
Anyone know what these are like?
