Re: KSC MP7 question
There's actually three versions:
40th Anniversary Limited Edition (first run) - fully trade marked.
Japan version - fully trade marked.
Taiwan - alledgedly not fully trade marked but I've heard some say they are...

Re: KSC MP7 question
is that the only difference really, because that seems a little steep to have a $100 price difference just for trademarks lol?

Re: KSC MP7 question
Yes that is the only difference. If a company has licenced trades you would be surprised how much that would cost, and the difference to the cost of a gun it would make.

Re: KSC MP7 question
For some, it's utterly worth it. No trades, no sale...

Re: KSC MP7 question
The japanese version requires a replacement loading nozzle to function reliably on green gas. This is the Ready Fighter loading nozzle.
The KWA/KSC Taiwan version is ready for green gas out of the box, and has a higher FPS (too hot for most UK sites).
I have no idea about the trades however.

Re: KSC MP7 question
Yea, if you get the KSC Japan, you will need the ready fighter loading nozzle to be installed in order to run reliably on green/propane.
Get the KSC Taiwan/KWA however, and you'll need to downgrade the FPS (get the Ratech NPAS valve, and the FPS is adjustable).

Re: KSC MP7 question
The Japanese mags have markings too. Can't say that the TW ones don't however as I haven't seen them.
As far as mags go, I'd push the boat out for the Japanese versions anyway as QC is better on them - and gas mags are prone to rubbishness... At £50 a throw, it's pricey but could save a nause in the long run.
