Well, better late than never, these are the bloody annoying loop attachments I was talking about...
I've clearly gone wrong somewhere. The bands are at max adjustment, and it's mushing my face in!

This is what I've ended up with
I may upgrade to ones with ear protection at a later date like viper scouts one, will see if I get shot in the ear or not as with all the straps I've still got a fair bit of cover.
My mask only has the one strap which I run across the top back part of my head like your top strap is viperscout. Mine started of crushing my face but I ended up loosening it off and it sits ok now.

If you were to get hold of some longer elastic, you may be able to rethread so those buckles are further round the back of your head.
Or even stitch one side and use only one buckle, in which case the original elastic may be long enough and the buckle may sit just behind you ear.
