  • Returning noob

Hi guys! I used to play a while back, but gave up about 5 years ago due to injuring both my knees. After some rest and recovery, and various other hobbies in-between I've finally decided to get back into airsoft. Only trouble im having is finding people to play with, as the guys I used to play with have either moved away or sold up all their stuff too. Thinking of buying a cheap Cyma/JG to get myself back into it and get my UKARA, then move onto something more expensive.

Whats the crack with the best manufacturers these days? Systema still pretty good, and ridiculously priced?
Did GBB rifles take off? They were in their infancy when I gave it up.

Shall see some of you about I guess, will be booking up my first day at GZUrban after the weekender is all out the way and everything is back to normal!

TM are top-dog from my experience.

GBB seem to work really well, if you buy the right ones - I have a KWA MP9 and it works absolutely fantastic all year 'round.

You mentioned CYMA - if you get the right gun and it's not a lemon, you might not need to 'upgrade' to a more expensive gun, as some of the CYMA ones are fantastic! (M14 Socom, for example)
