newbie G&G raider mag question

I'@M new to the seen and just bought a G&G raider
my question is are all the m4/m16 mags compatible or generic to the size of all m4/m16?

All m4 mags will fit, but some will fit better than others and some will feed better than others

From my own experience with a G&G M4 the magwell seems slightly oversized compared to others. I'll admit I've not tried a whole different variety of mags but the ones I had were too loose.

Fortunately its an easy fix with either velcro patches or tape and cardboard either on the mags in question or at the back of the magwell to push the magazines forward.

I had a g&g raider and the hi cap it came with fed fine... However the magpull pts midcaps I had for my scar would click in but wouldn't feed correctly unless I applied pressure to the back of the mag to make it sit right...

With my old raider I never had problems with any hicaps but some midcaps that were fine in other aegs wouldn't work.
