Which Make ?

I am not new to airsoft and have had a fair few guns and was looking to buy and L85 (either A1 or 2)
I was totally unsure what make i should get as there is Ares , Star ,A&A and ICS etc

If you could give some first hand experiences on what's good and bad about the different makes and what would be my best bet .looking to spend £200 absolute MAX? :D

easy answer , you wont get a new A2 sa80 for less then £200

maybe at a push on the forums, but that is a maybe

You'll get an Army SA80 for that. I doubt you'll get any other make for that price. Not even second hand

new , the lowest A2 varient i've seen is £280 , then battery made for it

For a second hand Army your looking at £100-£150. Star/Ares and ICS go for well over £200 usually.

think i will have to sell some stuff.!
while i am here do you guys know anyone or anywhere which sell a desert plate carrier to go with my new loadout. not to expensive either.

Still wont get you an ICS ARES or G&G. You might just squeeze a secondhand one out of that but not much change from £250.
