Is it possible to turn an M16 into an M4 if so how hard?

if you want sliding stock m4 from an m16

change the stock, rewire the battery to the front, get a new front end.

not very hard just need a m4 size inner and outer barrel
shorter handguards
and maybe the gun needs to be front wired if you want to use a retractable stock
if you want to keep it rear wired then you can use a crane stock which also retracts

Not hard at all. Get a new upper receiver, or replace the barrel. I've done it before, remove the delta ring and teeth by screwing it off then screw out the allen wrenches, then the barrel should come out easily. - Swap the solid stock for a retractable, done!

Remember to take out the inner barrel out first!

New inner and outer barrel, new hand guard and then a crane stock or rewire the GB to front wired. Unless you just want a shorter barrel. The all you need is a new inner and outer barrel and handguard.

still though it depends whether you just want a retractable stock and have the gun front wired




or a crane stock where you can put a batt and still keep it rear wired

Change the rear stock to a sliding crane, keep the front, put an elcan on, and BANG youve got a very unique C7 rifle!!!!
