  • Pistols similar to the P7M13?

    http://hkp7.com/graphics/m13.gif

I have a P7M13 springer and I really like the way it feels. However the GBB version is expensive and unskirmishable.

Are there any other pistols that feel similar, with a large grip and small barrel? PPK? VP70? thks

Check out the Bulldog, extremely nice to hold and use.

I have the PPK/S and its tiny - but stunning,

Another option is the Little Bird

The PGC P7M13 is expensive but I don't think it's 'unskirmishable' - just not very high-powered. In terms of finding similarly stubby guns, combinations of Detonics slides and 1911 or Hi-Capa frames produce similar large-frame-short-slide shapes.

There are other pistols that are just smaller in every direction - compacts like the Colt Commander, and subcompacts like the Detonics, S&W XD(M) Compact, and Px4 Storm Compact - on the market too.

Not to mention the Glock 19/26 or Sig P229.

The MGCs are absolutely beautiful, but pretty awful in terms of performance. No Hop Up, so range is very limited and they're so nicely made (and rare) you wouldn't really want to skirmish one. I can't think of any other airsoft pistols that feel/look like it really - if there was, I would own it! Although it looks like a compact gun, the grip is very large and no other pistol has the squeeze cocker which is what gives it the distinctive feel. You could skirmish the MGC, but I wouldn't personally. You'll probably just have to settle for something quite different.

If you wanted something cheap that has a (very) vaguely similar silhouette, maybe the Marushin HSC? Looks more like a P9 but it's closer to the P7 than most modern pistols. I suppose it wouldn't be much more useful than your springer though.
