G&G extreme 45 co2 full cart needs removing as mag wont lock.

Hi i have a new G&G extreme 45 co2 pistol.
The mag locks into the pistol however after loading the first co2 cart into the mag it will not lock into the pistol. The cart is stright and was not over tightenef as i can loose off the screw slighly. So i need to take back the pistol back to zero one but wanted to know will it be okay to leave the cart in the mag until i can take back next week or is there a safe way a full co2 cart can be removed. I heard that this is not the first time a problem like this has happened with a co2 mag.thanks
