Alternative uses for bayonet lug?

I was wondering if I could use the bayonet lug on my G&G F2000 for something else? (no idea why FN even thought a bayonet on a weapon this short would be useful). My ideas were originally for laser/torches, as the lug is very close to the barrel. But I am all ears for other useful ideas.

Sounds like a pretty good idea if you can somehow get the attachment mechanism from a bayonet onto a torch or laser.

As for what else... A tactical spork, maybe? Always handy during the lunch break, more so than a knife.

Wouldn't bother. Get an over barrel moderator and get it right up against the forend. This will eliminate the appearance of that 'twig' of a barrel sticking out of that bulky body.
