LiPo charger problem
13 April, 2015, 08:08
Ok. Im getting a bit spammy on this now which I appologies for but I now need help with my charger. I have a fairly cheap balanced LiPo charger with a 2 light indication. Every time I charge either of my 2 LiPo batteries on it, after 5 seconds it comes up with an error or says fully charged (even after a full day of airsoft). Only plugging in small conector. No slot for bigger one.
Any clue?

Re: LiPo charger problem
Try a friend's charger, or get one with a digital readout. I recommend an IMax B6. Could be a faulty charger, or damaged batteries, you need to rule one or the other out of the equation.

Re: LiPo charger problem
your battery could be a bit knackered/on its way out/ very unbalanced and your charger isn't sophisticated enough to balance it and charge it properly

Re: LiPo charger problem
Yes sorry for lack of pics. Will try when I get home but am thinking it is the charger as the batteries charged fine at the event this weekend on thier charger. Looking at chargers now, mine really was budget. Guess you shouldnt cut corners on these things.

I throughly recommend one of these:
G.T. Power AD-6 Intelligent Digital Multifunctional Balance NiCD/NiMH/LiPo/LiLo/LiFe/PB Charger
I notice its the one that they use on site at Ground Zero also.
