G&P or old A&K Acr Masada...
4 May, 2010, 10:43
So guys tell me,
What are the chances of me finding someone willing to let go of their own for a swap/cash?
I know the Magpul PTS fully licensed version has yet to come out, but god knows how long that will take!!
Anyway, i put up a post in "Guns Wanted", if your reading this and you have one and want to sell it or swap or swap with cash, pm me.

Re: G&P or old A&K Acr Masada...
One just went on here about 30 mins ago. They come up for sale on occasion but they are rare, for the simple reason that there were few sold. The old unlicensed A&K ones were illegally made and so few exist.
Just keep your eyes peeled and look on the other forums as they have them too sometimes.

Hehe, well I'm not selling mine.
They are rare, but here's the thing.... there's 5 people who attend our site alone, that own one.
I don't think they're "as good" as people make them out to be....

I agree with Gaffa, they are like the Tavor... look sweet/new/different, but not the best, I sold mine, it just wasnt quite what I hoped for, stuck with my traditional armalites

Re: G&P or old A&K Acr Masada...
Really? Awww that sucks, i really just want a change from my SA80. Like it's great an all with its full metal, and bulpup design. But i guess i just want something like an M4 but not an M4 and the Masada seemed to be the answer. (I am talking guns now not internals, ROF, fps or anything like that, Just the look)
Is there anything on the market thats good that fits my description?

Like an M4 but not an M4? You mean a rifle/carbine design with the mag forward of the pistol grip?

Scar maybe? Thats what i'm looking for next, after a Galil and an M60vn, they have the modern look, but still similar to an armalite in thier workings, you have the light and the heavy, 5.56 or 7.62 variants, and if its a coloured body your after, its tan or black!

Sorry yeah, my description was vague. I didn't know how to say it.

A SCAR is a reasonable choice, but REALLY weighty... I'd probably stick with your ACR/Masada idea... I mean at the end of the day, they are all much the same design inside, and you could tweak it, improve airseals and the like, replace a few choice components...

Re: G&P or old A&K Acr Masada...
You could look at the FNC. Take M4 mags but look very different, or there is the Sig 556. There are alot of other guns out there that fit the rather vague "Like an M4 but not an M4".
I love AR-15's I have 3. But there are alot of things out there that are similar in operation but look different enough for people to take notice.

I'm not too keen on the Scar, MW2 sorta put me off of it. Yeah i know they do pretty much look alike, but yeah i will probably wait for the ACR and get it and if it's not so good internally, i'd boost it up.

I just had a look at those guns, I didn't like the AR-15 cos it looked just like an M4 which is what i'm trying not to do, the Sig is a possible. But the FNC was very sexy looking! I really like that weapon, it looks very badass.

Funnily enough it does share a design feature or 2 with an AK (the bolt)
Anyway
