  • TM glock 17 loading nozzle getting stuck on piston?

    Hello all.

This has been bugging me for a while now as I notice the loading nozzle on my g17 does not retract like I think it's meant to.

So tonight I have taken out the housing part to have a look and it seems it's catching on the piston.
I removed the piston and it moves freely again.

I lubed up the piston and the loading nozzle but nothing working so far.
I take it it's meant to snap back into place with out anything catching on it?

    Any tips for a noob?

    Thank you for any help.

When you say piston, do you mean the rubber seal inside the nozzle? The piston lid?

Yeah I took the nozzle off and then I undone a screw inside the housing that was holding in place a big washer type thing I though was a piston or part of it?

      I try get some pictures.
      Thank you.

      (edit)
It's called the piston head from the pictures I have seen.
It just seems little to big it's catching and not sure if that's normal?

It should rub ever so slightly. It's designed to create a deal with the nozzle.

I live mine up by taking a little finger and dipping it in some silicone grease, smearing it inside the nozzle, then working the nozzle over the piston kid a few times

          Thank you.

All I got is the abbey silicone oil maybe the grease would do a better job.
I will get some see what happens.

          Thanks again.

Try taking the o ring off and see if it still sticks, with the piston lid on, if it doesn't stick then it's just the o ring rubber. They can swell after time. You can get a whole new piston head from PDI(best in my experience) for a G17 for less than £10

              Thank you.

Yeah I think it's the rubber part that's catching a bit.
I will get a new one then.

              Cheers for your help.
