  • Advice for a starter gun

    Hi all,
I've had my Xbox for trade on here for a while and it the right trade doesn't come around I'm thinking of just selling it and buying a gun, gear ect. Now I'm quite fond of the Tar-21 and the Honey Badger for certain FPS games. If any of you have one would you recommend one of them to a new guy, are they a good starter gun? If any of you have any advice it would be much appreciated!
    Thanks
    Jake

Asked the same thing a few months. I went with the G&G CM16 Carbine, awesome starter gun!

No problem man! Had my first game with it Sunday, performed awesome! I'd recommend a 9.6v NiMh battery or a 7.4v LiPo. The battery goes in the handguard if that helps.

Most people would recommend a CM (combat machine) from G&G as starter guns because they are reliable, affordable and easy to upgrade.

I have to go with the flow here; they are great starter guns that can develop into longer term weapons as you upgrade them.

The ARES Honey Badger has been getting to decent reviews, but I'm a little suspicious of their mosfets. I can't comment further because I've only seen one modern Ares polymer M4 up close. It looked good, with decent weight but that's all I can attest to.

However, the Combat Machines are good. Mine (full metal GR) is picky with mags, but fires well, runs like a train and is easy to work on.
