can you use standard m4 mags in the tm scar L?

Hi all I've googled this and can't find an answer... i know theres and adaptor or something you can get but is this right? Or can standard m4 mags fit straight away without any adaptor (just the bolt lockind system doesn't engage)

You need an adapter to use standard mags, gun works the same but you lose the bolt lock/cut off function.

Goes in the mag well over the feed tube , take it you don't have eny/many recoil mags ?
I know it's a cost thing but using ordinary mags in a TM recoil is like buying a sports car and swapping out the engine for one from a KA !

The adapter simply push fits onto the feed tube - couldn't be simpler to install
I use Lonex flash mags across my primaries, so made sense to fit the adapter in my SCAR recoil
