  • New gun. Factory paint is coming off from handling it.

    Hi all

received my new gun yesterday afternoon - all metal - finished in black.

Hasn't been skirmished, hasn't left the house - in fact, it hasn't left the dining room where I opened the parcel up.

The paint feels tacky / sticky and is coming off when it is handled. There are flakes of black all over the gun and on my hands - which look really grubby after having handled it.

I did not request any sort of paintjob when I bought brand new online and therefore, this paint job is factory standard.

Any advice? to remedy it? Is this a common fault? Should I return it?

    Many thanks

Is it a Well, by any chance?

Edit: replied at the same time! I would return it, sounds like bad paint. Seen a few reviews of this gun, and they never mentioned paint being tacky. Sounds like it hasn't gone-off properly. UK shop?

Send it back for a replacement your rights cover you as the goods are not up to the job, the finish is part of this as down the line what else will come off, under the law you have 15 days so act fast.

Many thanks - yeah it's UK. Not going to name the shop as some rules on here seem to discourage it.

I 've messaged the shop and let them know. No reply yet - hopefully tomorrow.
