G36c peq box

Hi all, I recently purchased my first gun. A jg g608-7 (g36c)
I instantly rushed into buying a peq box as I knew this type of g36c would need it as battery space is very limited.

I purchased what I believe is a peq 15 box, got home only to realise my battery doesn't fit, I'm just wondering as I'm extremely new to all of this, do I have to use a 8.4v battery with my gun (same as what was provided) or can I use another type? Also will I have to buy another larger peq box or should I buy a new battery? All opinions will help.

Going to my first skirmish next Sunday and need this sorted before then.

There are larger foregrips available, which would allow you to run pretty much any battery size, I have one that I used to use on my old g36c, might be able to work out a trade on your peq ?
