Best gun or upgrades for range and accuracy.

Attended my first skirmish yesterday at a new R.I.F.T airsoft site in middle wallop situated on a live mod site, the area in play was much bigger then first thought, I own a jg g36c (I'm new to airsoft) and was wondering what the best gun/upgrades to get was as I now know, my g36 hasn't got the range needed for such a large site, please let me know what you all think in terms of manufacturer, model and upgrade parts, im not sure of my budget yet but please put prices so I have a rough idea.
Preferably aeg but all advise will be helpful.

Best gun for range and accuracy upgrades is probably a TM VSR

Budget dependant really.

A lot of folk use ASPUK parts and get good results, but I'm an old school kind of guy and would use Laylax or PDI. They are very pricey though. I think the zero trigger alone is nearly £200, but I've not checked as I've not built one for a while. Think my last one cost around £700 to build.

Depends on your play style really. You may not want a single shot rifle. If AEG, TM are always great as standard, but I've not been in the AEG game for a good while now.

I was actually looking into buying a sniper rifle before I went but I enjoyed the room clearance and close quarter side of it in not sure if I would feel the same.

Any AEG can reach a fair distance of you spend time tuning it. For the ultimate in hop tuning (the most important part of seeking range) get the barrel r-hopped. This is a very fiddly process, but there are people who specialise in fitting and tuning them.

M4 AEG (G&G CM16 L) + Madbull Tightbore 6.03+ Madbull Ultimate Hop Up+ Madbull Blue bucking and rubber+ G&G Competition Grade 0.25g bbs.

My personal set up and I have out ranged many peoples £300+ rifles- keeps me laughing for days

Flat hop the bugger for next to nothing, the price of super glue a pink erasure any soft hop rubber, white plumbers tape a craft knife, and a stabilised(to stop the end vibrating ) and very clean inner barrel,
