NiMH Battery - brand new Slow or fast charge?

This is a pretty newbie question and since I've been out of airsoft for about 6 years I have forgotten the basics.

My 7 year old ICS 2000mAh Battery has packed in.

I've got a smart charger and a new 2000mAh crane stock battery. On the actual battery it's "standard" setting is 200mA (14hrs charging time)


Is this recommended or go higher? 500mA etc?
