UK licence free radios?

Anyone know of fairly inexpensive, legal channel radios I wouldn't have to buy an ofcom licence for? I've been looking for a while but all I've seen are illegal without a licence and need programming. Cheers.

Any PMR 446 radios are free to use without a radio license, they have limited range (about 2km) due to power limitations placed on them but for most Airsoft use will be sufficient.

Personally i use a Motorola XT460 but any normal one should do, i have added an ebay link for you:

Motorola xtn446 is excellent. Not sure if they are still made, but really good radios for PMR

Ah right, so are all PMR 446s limited to 5mW? I've just found some Cobra ones that seem alright, thanks.
