7.4 V 11.1 lipo

As per the title, I'm looking at a PTS Masada however want the rate of fire to be good, a couple of years ago I owned the AK version and the rate of fire was OK, nothing special though.

ive read recently that 11.1 lipo's are ok to use if you have no more than 15c rating, question is what is better / difference between a 7.4 @ 25c and an 11.1 @ 15c.

I don't want to knacker my gun but wondering if the lower C version of the 11.1 is a viable option

The 11.1 will still run your gearbox very fast, although I am not sure what the PTS Masada gearbox is capable of dealing with. Either would ideally need a MOSFET fitting to protect the trigger contacts. I find that chucking in an SHS high torque motor has a good effect on the ROF.
