Need some advice regarding gbb pistols

Hi need some advice I've got a we 1911 silver dragon, but I found its quite heavy and it hasn't got a hoop for a pistol lanyard , but I like glocks and the fact they fit straight in to a serpa holster where the silver dragon doesnt and are slightly lighter what are people's thoughts and what would you do
