    So I found a set of apparently "full osprey vest" online under the name Max Fuchs Osprey MkIV.

    Is my fraud detector going off for no reason or is this the sort of thing to avoid like the plague?

    Max Fuchs are a reputable German outdoor equipment seller; they sell quite a lot of genuine military kit.
