Will glock 19 mags fit a glock 17

As per the title tbh can any one tell me if glock 19 mags will fit a 17

No. They are too short.

The base plate hits home before the feed lips / mag lock reach home.

Bigger mags will fit in smaller guns, the just hang out the bottom a bit....

50 round extended mags will fit in all of the Glock variants.
Glock 17 / 18 / 34 / 35 will fit all smaller frame guns (19 / 23 / 26 etc)
All medium frame Glocks (19 / 23) will fit their own kind or the smaller 26
The small framed 26 will only fit that size.

Bryan mills has it bang on until his last 2 points. Medium frame glocks eg the 19 and 23 will NOT fit the smaller glock 26 mag, it is too short being a 15 round mag and the 19/23 uses a 20 round longer mag. The 26 mag is too short for anything bigger than a 26. But a 19/23 will take any of the bigger glocks magazines.

The glock 26, which I have a Marui one of will fit any Marui (and some other brands) glock mags. I run glock 17/18 mags in mine because they are 25 round mags and the extra length is nice to wrap my pinky around.

The common theme of my post is referring to the mags..... So the mags from the medium Glock such as the 19 WILL fit in the smaller framed 26.

Thanks for the speedy replies lads saved me buying a couple of the wrong mags

Also worth noting: some brands of Glock mags have a little tab on the back. And some brands of pistols don't have space for that tab.

For example, a KJW Glock won't take WE mags because the WE mags have this tab on them. So unless you're happy to file out a groove into the magwell keep an eye on that too.

Kwa and we are also not cross compatable just buy the we mags they are far cheaper !
