  • TM recoil sopmod & MK18 rail problem

    Hi all,

I am having trouble fitting the rail to my sopmod. The barrel nut screws all the way down but there's still too much wobble on the barrel. Does anyone have an idea on how to sort this out?

    Cheers

Google marui barrel shims. Mine was the same and a few of those sorted it.

I used a leather washer that came in a pack of washers from any big store that sells things to make your house with. Really good and in my opinion I found them better than the Prometheus barrel shims. The nut can really bite down into the leather when you torque it up and straight away give you a brilliant solid fitment without messing about with different numbers of shims. Plus you could pick one up tomorrow and for cheaper than proper shims.

True, I'll have a look into that too
