Tm glock 17 firing issue. Advice needed!!!😶

I've got a tm glock 17 with salient slide and sometimes when you pull the trigger it will cycle 2-3-4 times over. Basically burst firing.
Can any one offer some advice on where to start to sort the problem please.

Sounds like the slide is too heavy to cycle fully. The blowback unit and release valve on the mag are calibrated for the amount of gas needed to oscillate the stock polymer slider. The heavier metal Salient one will need a bit more power in it to work properly.
You will need to look into high flow valves which are then installed into the mag (WE mags may also be an option as they use the TM style internals but have higher flow valves). The downside is you will likely need to replace the blowback unit as well for a tougher one to deal with all the extra force. Depending how well the setup handles you may need enhanced hammer and recoil springs as well.
The thing with TM pieces (AEG and GBB) is that if you want to install any upgrades you are likely to have to replace nearly all the internals.
The easy fix is to put a stock polymer slide back on but obviously that means no upgrades; that being said TM pistols are known for their all round excellence in use.

Who made the salient slide? The hammer and Sears should reset until the slide has come all the way back. If it was a power issue guns would be full auto img as the gas decreases.

Yeah, never read so much pish in all my life, pretty much everything in the second post is incorrect.

Your hammer sear is worn out, you'll need a new one. There's no requirement to 'upgrade' anything else providing it's shooting fine otherwise.

That's for the words of wisdom. The general consensus is either the Sears or the trigger bar so might as well just go ahead and replace them both.
Will post a diagnosis once I've done it.
