Fa-mas f1
22 May, 2010, 20:03
Im thinking of getting a FA-MAS F1 off zero-one but i've heard that it is a tad too difficult to get parts.
Is this something i should seriously consider or are the guns -being tm - good enough and reliable enough that i should not be too worried about it?
On a side note are any other manufacturers currently developing or manufacturing an alternative that might be better serviced?
Thanks

Even when loaned to one of the notorious gun breaking people you know...
Seriously, these are tough bits of kit, the one shadow uses was sitting in a container for about 2 years... and as soon as it dried out worked fine, or so he said...
Opinions are like ar**holes, everyone has one.
Usually found being very unimpressed by a lot of players, but gets a pleasant surprise when they actually have a clue on a game day.

mine worked fine, selector plate was loose, one screw and PEW PEW PEW works like a charm, even if it is 100 years old and has been hired out like some whore to every player

Re: Fa-mas f1
apparently the rate of fire on the famas is really quite fast. However, i reckon the SV looks better - i prefer the trigger guard on the SV, and also it has two sling mounts, where the f1 has one. But hey, personal preference
