  • Need advice with gearbox

Hi all im new at airsoft although i have a few guns just never actually been out only in loft and garden lol.
I have a jg g36c that im trying to get battle ready as they say.
Here is a pic of its gearbox and motor.
I think its knackered yes there are no wires on there but i have soldered some on, and have tried a new battery but no joy.
I think the gun cost me like £100 back in the day so im guessing the gearbox is low of low grade.
Is it best to just go and buy a decent gearbox and motor or can i send it off for repair.
It does have a m100 spring inside but not sure if that means much only more power.

So if someone could be as so kind as to tell me what version?? it is and point me in the right direction that would be amazing.

    Thanks

    Re: Need advice with gearbox

Unless the actual gearbox shell is cracked there is nothing wrong with it that can't be fixed for cheap unless all the parts inside are fubar and need replacing which is unlikely so it should cost you no more than £20, a bit of wire, piston ,cut off lever is the usual suspects
