Returning to the game - North Kent
14 April, 2016, 15:26
I have not played for about 5 years but have been thinking about playing recently before I really do get too old (if not there already).
Any recommendations for sites in / around north Kent? Always preferred woodland / open games and quite like the idea of trying something MilSim although having never tried it and being out of the game for so long I might be too far out of my depth?
Cheers for any advice.

Re: Returning to the game - North Kent
Battle Lakes in Kent seems to get good reviews
Just my opinion, but if you're looking to get in to it again after 5 years, might be worth just doing an open day or two to get the feel for it again. Some places run limited ammo days, which while not exactly MilSim, does mean you need to play more tactically, and helps prevent spray & pray

I'm down every games day at EAG buddy just give me a shout and I'll whip it out, can have a squeeze too if you like.

Cheers for the reply, you are probably right about doing a few open days, limited ammo sounds good as the spray & pray approach does spoil it for me.

Near Bexleyheath, so not far from the Sandpit at all.
Saw something about a place in Chislehurst too but can't find any details.

I'm bexleyheath based and travel to battle lakes quite often. A good site, well marshalled, with a nice rural setting.

You would be very welcome at Ace Combat, near Maidstone.

Cheers for the replies.
I played at Battle Lakes a few times and really enjoyed it there.
Have always fancied giving Ace Combat ago, seem to remember seeing some of there players at games before. Chislehurst is near and also sounds like its worth a look if well run too.
Guess its down to me to sort my gear out and go!
