Hi guys I want to get a new Aeg. M4 platform

Willing to pay almost any amount but don't want systema

I want
A reliable gun
great performance
A gun with relatively standardised parts so replacements are easy

What guns would you suggest as there are so many options. Obviously cheaper the gun more money for upgrades. Preformance and reliability are my number one concerns

What do you mean by "great performance"? Without knowing that, it is difficult to give you a meaningful response.

Far to open ended. Want recoil? No recoil? RS compatibility? Build quality?
You'd be making your search redundant if you upgrading it anyway..

The ICS range of M4's have a good reputation. Too many variants to list.

Want good range and accuracy Aswell as being reliable.

I like recoils but if they did did break they look challenging and expensive to fix

I would avoid the blowbacks, they don't add anything to performance & as you said can be expensive to repair.

TM's HK416D is the best AR-pattern AEG on the market by miles. It's very reliable, very high-performance, and has a comprehensive aftermarket. What more could you ask for?

I'd disagree with Paul above, as I think the recoils are, not only the best guns, but also, the recoil itself, definately adds something to the experience.
