Gbb bolt getting stuck in stock tube
3 July, 2016, 16:20
Hi folks,
Having bit of a dilemma, recently took my vfc 416 apart to fit a magpul ubr stock, all good except that upon pulling the charging handle/bolt back the bolt gets jammed in the stock tube and won't release until I pull it all apart again!
I know it's not the magpul stock as I fitted the original stock tube back and still had he same problem! I've also tried a different bolt and that's ditto!
The gun charges and the bolt will lock on the bolt catch only when I pull the charging handle back half way!
It seems to be something on the lower receiver causing the issue but with little knowledge and spare parts for gbbs I'm now resorting to the zero in techs! Again!
Any help would be much appreciated 😀
Thanks folks!

Gbb bolt getting stuck in stock tube
Negative! There was a spacer on the original stock tube (by spacer you mean the one that goes between the receiver and stock nut?)

Re: Gbb bolt getting stuck in stock tube
Just dug out my old spare vfc 416 lower and the buffer tube still had its spacer , its a small alloy block that goes in to the tube first should be still in your buffer tube if you tap it out

Re: Gbb bolt getting stuck in stock tube
Is said spacer the one that's got a small grub screw holding it in?

Re: Gbb bolt getting stuck in stock tube
Any advice how to get it out? There's definitely a spacer In there, I measured it! I can't even get the end cap off the tube even with the grub screw removed!

Haha lucky you! I've had the hammer on it and it's still not budging! May resort to cutting the tube down!

Re: Gbb bolt getting stuck in stock tube
just to see if thats the issue use something to act as the spacer its 1.5cm with a little extra on the cap so stick something in the ubr tube thats 3cm and see if the bolt jams ( make sure it can be removed lol )
