  • WE M9A1 inner and outer barrel upgrade... anything else?

    Hi everyone,
I recently got back into airsoft after some time and got myself a WE M9A1 pistol.
I mainly play CQB with it and realized I'd end up ditching my M4/MP5 and going with only my pistol, therefore decided to try a game with pistol only. However want to upgrade my pistol a little before doing so.

Basically I am thinking about getting a new threaded barrel and a longer tightbore inner barrel and use a suppressor to hide the inner-barrel.

    Now my questions are

First of, is this necessary/a good idea? The pistol is really nice but noticed a fairly high spread with only 1/5 bullets going where it's suppose to

Is the tightbore really going to increase it's accuracy/range

Is the longer barrel going to increase it's accuracy/range

What inner barrel length would I need and what length suppressor to match that?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated, especially if anyone has any pistols upgraded like mentioned above.

    Thanks!

Tbb to increase fps, range you get some but out of a pistol you lose volume and accuracy.

If you can upgrade the nozzle valve do that then get a 6.03 barrel.

Vsr system so I suggest the modify tan over anything else.

I hate ratech and not a fan of maple leaf a single bit.

I'm not a fan of longer barrels under a can in a pistol because volume from the OEM nozzle valve.

Not sure how the m9 system works and you may suffer from issues from recoil and the can moving.

Also if you can make sure your ammo is not over/under weight.
Swelled up, I like to remove some of the polished surface by washing them.

Some barrel/bucking combos you may need to open the hop window.

You can try I keys or the heat shrink method.
Make sure you do the Teflon mod.

I'm no fan of 6.01 barrels
