recomended m4's
14 December, 2008, 11:04
I'm considering the m4 as a choice for my first airsoft gun. Does anybody have recomendations of which make and model to get. I am willing to pay from £100 to £150. And want it to have about a 350 fps range.

Re: recomended m4's
For that price I think a JG would be your best bet. I haven't had one but I've seen them in action and they are pretty good.

The new G&G combat machines are supposed to be pretty good, you get the gearbox from an expensive gun for £100.

DO NOT GET A JG M4
the barrel can come out of place reallly easy because thre is a pin and it wears down making the barrel wobble, i used a M16 with a wobbaly barrel and it is really ahrd to hit someone
if u r gunna get a m4 try classic army or G&G, there will be some around on this site

Marui, and then get an M100 spring.
350fps, great performance, and will last for ages.

Re: recomended m4's
agree with keeper of secrets....for 100-150 a classic army/ G&G are pretty optimistic....
a TM will fit in that price range brand new...

I use a Marui S-system, its got zero wobble and it's solid. Although, it does look a bit unorthadox, but thats fine with me!

I'd say thats a bit OTT, My one is amazingly accurate and the range is crazy. Was dueling a guy with a A&k SR 25 with a .01 barrel all day.
Putting someone off an entire brand which otherwise has good reviews on there recent stuff because you have had a bad experience is a bit strong :s

TRY THE JG HK 416 LOOKS LIKE A M4 BUT GIVES YOU A BIT MORE POWER AND HIGHER RPM

Re: recomended m4's
Wow, caps lock... ermmmm, i have an A&K SR25k, and upgraded it with a new hop and TB barrel, and none of the expensive guns have beaten it for range or accuracy so far, so my opinion is, get a reasonable stock gun, and spend the excess money on upgrades... and the G&G combat machines look good for their price, i'd go for one of them
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer...

Re: recomended m4's
don't get a jg. Best choice is a g&g combat machine for just over £100. That will leave you some money for some extra mags and a vest possibly.
