I cant find an exact answer to this question so its relevant to ask it here as im importing it. I asked in another thread but i need as quick a reply as possible. How is customs on two tone guns for non registered players? I've fouind the Ashford gold lugers i've been looking for for the past year but its in Japan. I've asked him if he will paint them for me but i dont expect him to. If not i will have him send it to my friend in the US for her to paint them for me then ship them to me. Would that be any problem getting through Customs when it gets to the UK? I will have all the gold parts painted a legal bright colour (which should be over half the guns) and say to put something like 'airsoft toy replica' on the customs declaration. I assume it wouldnt be a problem being two tone/obviously not a realistic firearm? Though i just thought, the law is to be over 18 to buy an airsoft gun, would they have to check that before releasing it? These were expensive and i dont want to lose them because of customs deciding they're a problem and destroying them without warning me or something. I dont see why there would be a problem if i have them painted bright red but i want to check due to the cost of them
