The taste from a hydration pack?!?
Ewwww that plasticy taste is rank... any good drinks to drink through it to get rid of that new hydration pack taste?

Coke? - Try something with a strong taste apart from alcohol; otherwise you'd get a strange taste.
Wash it out a few times with water, never tried it though.

If you're sure it's clean then as will said, lemon juice. Just add it to to some water and fill it up. Don't put coke in it

when you fill up with water in the morning add two capfulls of mint mouthwash. coveres up the plastic taste and the water seems cooler, due to the mint

im sure drinking mouthwash aint a good idea?! lol bet it tastes good though.
i'd say steer clear of soft drinks e.g.e coke etc... as if you dont wash it out properly it will go sticky and horrible......
