Help identifying a sniper riffle
2 November, 2016, 22:39
In need of a little help. My mate has a sniper riffle (l96 style), but neither of us can work out what make it is. It's been heavily painted so we can't see any identifying marks on it. Is there any way we can find out what it is? The previous owner can't remember either

Re: Help identifying a sniper riffle
Well, pictures might help. You've not exactly given us much to go on here. Could be a TM, G&G, Well.....need a lot more detail!

Re: Help identifying a sniper riffle
Chances are it's a well, which is fine as they are upgrable. It could be an AGM, which are shite.
No real way to tell without seeing the internals

Re: Help identifying a sniper riffle
If he's still got it in bits I'll get him to take some photos. Anything parts in particular that would help identify it?

Re: Help identifying a sniper riffle
Well it doesn't appear to be a Double Eagle, the body shape is ever-so-slightly different.
I'd agree. Most likely a Well MB-01. The AGM appears to have a shorter, wider outer barrel- from what's I've seen in person and online references. (Then again, could be a variety of versions).
Is there nothing printed on the receiver at all? Mag? Any parts? Internally?
Hell it could just as easily be an APS/Maruzen Type96!
