Re: thought's on these please..
i've tried a 6" tm colt python, my friend owns it, the range is slightly disappointing but everything else is really good. the desert warrior is probably better but more expensive, and not a revolver obviously

Re: thought's on these please..
aye have a TM colt python it's fun in the fact it's a revolver and different but range is rather pewp and fixed hop.
The warrior is a 1911 type which as pistol you can't really fault and wont let you down!

kwa make a revolver similar for about £60, they have removable 4-bb shells. if you have lots of money you could get both

Re: thought's on these please..
Tm colt revolvers look badass cool...but they dont perform half as well, they are not as powerful have fixed hops, and they sound lame.....

yeah tm pythons are nice, but if you really want a revolver save up and get a tanaka.

Re: thought's on these please..
I've owned both TM & Tanaka Pythons(6"). The TM looks ok, the Tanaka looks stunning! The TM was much lighter and felt toylike. It was lower powered and not very much fun to shoot. It also had a tendency to leak. If you can, save your money for a Tanaka, they really are worth the money!

Re: thought's on these please..
I love revolvers. My flatmate has a TM colt python, and I was going to get one myself, until he got his...
1 word sums it up: Dissapointment.
The finish is awful, it looks and feels like a waterpistol
Its practically silent (ok if you want a stealthy pistol I guess, in which case get the Mk 23, infinately better) the only noise is a crappy plastic "click click" of the hammer moving. And theres no recoil at all (though I guess thats to be expected) but really, if youre gonna get a gas pistol, get a GBB! I dont like NBBs purely because of the ear to ear grin factor of a nice hard blowback.
So yeah to sum it up.
TM colt python
Pros:
"Dirty Harry" factor
Quiet
Relatively accurate (for pistol ranges)
Relatively powerful
Economic with gas
Cons:
Quiet
Fixed hop
horrible finish
feels and looks like a toy

Yeah, as a side arm/backup its fine, but as something more skirmishable I'm not so sure. But hey, airsoft's 75% looks, right?

Re: thought's on these please..
As everyone said the TM python is quite disappointing especially for the price you pay. I suppose it's ok for a plinker and possibly as a backup backup but if I were getting something as a serious playing pistol I'd go for the Desert Warrior. Well actually I'd probably go for the new Night Warrior or possibly a Hicapa 4.3.
If you do want something a bit special for a pistol load out have a look at the Marushin M629 X Cartridge. It uses metal shells holding 1bb each so it's a true 6 shooter and the shells are a little pricey at $30 for 6 but damn it's sexy and just think how manly it will make you feel with a few of those in a western style bullet belt hand loading each shell. :p
Here's a pic of Krucks old one (shamelessly stolen from his sale ad)
Very sexy I think you'll agree
