What CQB gun?
8 January, 2017, 15:21
Hi all, on the hunt for a new CQB gun (don't want a massive one), any suggestions what to get? Price wise im thinking about £200 - £300 (for the gun), it don't matter if I have to buy the battery/charger separate, I just want a good AEG that I won't have to do any upgrades to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Adam.

Re: What CQB gun?
Cant discuss other retailers, this forum is run by Z1 as good will to us so we should respect their wishes
Would you like a Stock, or no stock (mp5k)?

Ah I see, ok that's no problem, thanks for pointing that out, I'd like a stock one I think.
Thanks,
Adam.

Re: What CQB gun?
Well G&G do a ton a AR15 variants that are nice. GC16 is a sweet size

I have a G&P Ball Rifle Short, really like it, build is good, perfromance is solid, and the size is great for CQB
I also have an MP5K with no stock, its so much fun, just the pdw stock does help over longer periods, the TM MP5 high cycles fall bang into your price range and are great performing guns
What about the UMP

Thanks, I'll take a look at those options.

Re: What CQB gun?
You wont go wrong with a TM P90 and a set of MAG midcaps, such a good setup for close quarters and being bullpup and TM hop/build quality it still ranges out to 30M accurately.
It takes any indoor acc you need easily - laser/torch etc
You can sprint with this thing on one hand
It is very quiet out the box
Just a link for reference

Re: What CQB gun?
I would go with (Cyma) ak74u, p90, or mp5 all will have room for optics/lights/lasers if that is your thing, and they all come in at around £150-£200 new. Accuracy will be good and they all have solidly built internals/externals.

MP5 / P90 / M4 / 74su / etc etc all these 'short' guns would work great but me personally I wouldn't go for a stockless gun , you still take aimed shots in CQB can't do that with a point and shoot ?
But ultimately comes down to what you like , I've done CQB with a full length M14 before now without any problems !

If you have £300 to play with, couldn't do better than a Scorpion Evo imo
