L85 Questions;

If I bought an ICS L86 LSW then -

Would M4 mags fit it?
What is the largest capacity mag that would fit it without mods?
How many rounds would I use in a standard length game?
What SUSAT could I buy to fit it?

Yes, about 400 or a drum mag, depends how trigger happy u are maybe 600, any

Yes, the 2500/ 3000/ 5000* will fit (some modding may need doing to the 5K mag).

Consider it though... a Bullpup weapon using Armalite magazines, but instead a Drum or Beta C mag... isn't going to be comfortable.

The Star SUSAT would need a bit of modding, but probably the best.

No, PMags do not fit in the L85 (at least the one I tried didn't fit my AAL85)

I bought the Star Susat for the wifes ICS L85 and it is a little loose on the rail. Some self adhesive metal from a model shop will fix this.

Pmags fit the ares version 100%. And they feed alot better than the crappy ares expendable midcaps, unsure on the ICS department though. But if M4 mags fit fine and are not super tight, then the Pmags will also fit.

it worked for the so callled realisitic video game, Cod 4. Lol!
I cant see how you can operate a box mag on a rifile like that. Im sure it would just get in the way

P- mags fit fine in the aar85 you just have to shave a bit off the front will post a pic when I'm home I got 10 green lable pmags to fit fine and fire great

A couple of layers of tape on the site mount running the length of the inner section beween the rails works well. You just need enough to lift the sight so the rails grip higher up the rifle rails (where they are wider)

Pretty much my fix Ade but the metal is a lot tougher. But you described the procedure so thanks for adding it.
