Rifle Case?
13 July, 2010, 01:45
Hey Guys, I know your not allowed to avertise or link any shops apart from zero one, but could you reccomend me a BRAND of rifle case (as cheap as it can be, just for basic transportation purposes suitable for air rifles / airsoft snipers,)
Edit: The case needs to be about 49 Inches,
Thanks

Re: Rifle Case?
Guarder Gun Bags are nice, I have one for my M16 and it is a lovely bit of kit.
We are allowed to recommend a product just not another retailer (if it is a direct competitor with Z1, but I could link PC game retailers until the cows come home.)

Swiss Arms are also very nice. I may have one for sale rather cheaply in a few days. Depends if my M14 will fit in there or not

Re: Rifle Case?
I have Viper, Swiss Arms and UTG cases. These are all soft cases. I have found the UTG to be the best value, well made with plenty of padding, and lots of spare pockets for your ancilleries.
I also have a couple of hard cases by Dokosport and these are excellent if you want maximum protection but more limited in their carrying capacity.
One point though, steer clear of the cheap HK supplied copies. I have a couple, and they are about as much use as a carrier bag. Very cheaply mad and hardly any foam protection and only 1 securing strap inside.

Re: Rifle Case?
Ye like it! I got a £20 quid black gun bag of @bay. Extremely good value for money. Fits a sub machine gun size in one compartment and then a long rifle compartment in the other. Big enough to hold my m14, which is a long gun! What gun are you looking to get for a 52" gun bag!?

Re: Rifle Case?
That's a nice looking bag for £20. But, I would still stick with the more conventional bags that we airsofters use.
The reason is, bits and bobs. You have a lot more bits and bobs with an airsoft gun. Magazines, bb's, batteries, all those little bits and pieces you can never find.
With the extra pockets you can keep say, your g36 mags with your G36 and also the extra batteries and stuff you nee.

thank you, I thought so too. :P my next problem is that it is 52" bit big, gnna wait a day or 2 till my rifle arrives and measure that before I get the buffalo river one.
Here is the write up on the buffalo river one.
This Rifle Slip is made with an outer shell of Ballistic quality nylon for extreme durability. The lining is high density closed cell foam padding, this gives a great deal of protection and minimal bulk. The smooth lining, unlike "fleece" linings means your rifle will not snag up on entry or exit of the slip. The foam lining gives the slip buoyancy meaning it will float with most guns in it. The zip runs to almost full length, only the muzzle end is zip free as there is a re-inforced block end to prevent the muzzle punching through the end of the slip. The zip is fitted with a baffle to prevent dirt clogging it and to prevent dust entering the slip. Heavy duty carry handle. Small side pocket.
Thanks guys :D

This will mainly be used for personal transportation of rifles outside of airsoft games.
