Tactical bags, which one?
14 July, 2010, 14:24
OK heres the thing. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a little silly when it comes to taking a gun to a site. There's normally about 10 of them.
So, with that in mind and the fact the wife also skirmishes, I need a good tactical bag, preferably with wheels, and with enough space to take the amount of spares and ancilleries I would need for possibly 1 weekends worth of slirmishing, think weekender here.
I dont want to be trawling backwards and forwards to the car 3 or 4 times to get all my gear to the safe zone. So, big, spacious, practical, Pro's and cons of the bag you recommend, whether you have used it, and if anyone has any pics of the internal structure of it that would be great too. not too fussed on price but nothing over £150

What kind of length were you looking at, ie what sort of rifles because there are lots of bags that will take a CQB M4 but less that will transport your ARES Cheytac

Re: Tactical bags, which one?
I don't want if for guns, I want it for equipment as stated in original thread. All my guns are in gn bags the Tasc bag is for all the other stuff, Mags, batteries, gas, toolkits, kneepads, helmets, webbing ammo, battery chargers etc, bearing in mind it is 2 persons worth.
I have a couple of little Rolson collapsible trollies that i put the gun cases in but need something bigger for the rest of the small items

OK, do they need to be tactical ones or would your outdoor bag do? Such as North Face etc?

Re: Tactical bags, which one?
I have used a bog standard suitcase size bag with wheels on a weekender.
Dont Viper do a big tac bag with wheels?
If not get one of those fold down trolleys that go really compact. If we could fit one of those and all the camping gear for 3 people and 3 people in a 57 plate Corsa this year i'm sure you will be fine in the mazda.

Re: Tactical bags, which one?
well, since I asked about tactical bags I would have thought that's what I wanted. It needs wheels and compartments,
The reason I am asking on here in a thread, is I was hoping someone would own one and be able to impart some knowledge of them.
I am quite aware of the brands out there and the bag types, and I do have a few in mind but, I need people experiences of them. The top end makers have their own sites but not one of them has decent photos of the bag interior.
Sorry if I sound shirty here but I thought my OP was quite straightforward, obviously not.
So again, do you own a TAC bag with wheels, does it have compartments what is the build quality like. How much gear can you get in it. This is the type of info I would like.
Aribos iI have one of those collapsible trollies, and I use it to put the gun cases in and transport them from the car to safezone. But it isn't what I want for my kit. I would like something that is more permanent so it doesn't need to come out of the bag once finished.
Thanks
