Lipo in M4 RIS
22 July, 2010, 09:56
Would some one please be able to tell me if this will fit in the front RIS of my L119?

7.4V 1200mAh Cranestock battery
It is from a shop of components and I am contemplating the jump to lipo but I need to know if it will fit first.
Also will these fit in an M16 stock?

7.4V 1600mAh 25C+ continuous discharge.
Many thanks

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
The second one should easily fit in the stock, it's smaller than a 9.6v mini. The only issue you may have is it's too small and will rattle around.

Sock
, thats not a problem as I can sort that with a little padding on the battery itself.

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
Those intellect batteries are tiny. They even fit in the front ris of my G36 Tactical. They also fit My KA M4a1. And they will definitely rattle around inside a full stock.

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
Like said above, the second will fit easy peasy, only thing is it'll be wider than a 9.6 mini just to let you know. A 3 cell lipo on the other hand is similar size to a 3600 8.4, possibly a bit wider but dimensions will change slightly with different brands as you probably know :P

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
I use large batts in my M16's so that isn't a problem but the nunchuck lipo should fit in an M4 ris yes or no? Sorry but the question wasn't answered.

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
Well maybe it's a different battery because that one is 1.54cm and a 9.6v as supplied by the same shop is 1.81cm

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
it should do as nunchuck batteries usually fit in an ris and the lipos are much thinner and shorter than regular nunchucks.

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
I dunno if I made it clear or not, but when I said wider I meant width wise not depth/thickness

Re: Lipo in M4 RIS
Either way mate, they should fit either side of the gas rod and barrel, as the depth is much shallower. So you will get the batteries in the sides of the Ris .
