Tape was for the funnies. I'd get mag clamps if I were being serious about the doublemag setup. Can't really carry doublemags on my rig atm :p
Sadly I can't get an M4 stock since the AKS folding stock body lacks the stock tangs to accept stock adapters. The regular stocks are comfy as well so why change it.

Re: Classic AK47 vs AK47 tactical
Classic AK. I've got a Real Sword Type 56-1, the gun is staying the way it came. The only thing I would add to the gun is a sling. They shouldn't even have grenade launchers on them. I've got an ICS M4 that I'm getting a RIS for and adding the tactical stuff to because it looks good on them. But the Type 56-1 is staying as is. The M4 is going to be used in a Special Forces loadout I'm doing and the Type 56-1 I'm going to use for some sort of Vietnam loadout.

I'm in love with both but personaly I preffer tactical, but I guess it depends on your play style, if you like a straight up AEG for basic combat the classic, but if you like scopes, torches, grenade launchers and stuff then tactical all the way.

Re: Classic AK47 vs AK47 tactical
Is it just me that thinks m4 stocks look totally wrong fitted to ak guns ??
An ak should be wood and steel , the way it was originally designed .
I too have an rs 56/1 and it is staying unmolested and simple . Why complicate perfection ?

For me, classic AKs are usually the way forwards.
Although, some of the tactical models (like the AK105) Don't look so bad.

Classics Rules,
If you want to dress it up, have a M4.
