Buying an M4 (Newby)
14 August, 2010, 22:34
Thinking of getting a M4 Carbine as it is easily upgradeable and a good starting weapon hopefully, the question I need to ask is which make should I go for? Not wanting it too heavy and Not wanting a G&G GR16.
Regards,
MWatson.

Yeah I do need two tone
Looking for under £200 customisable M4 so when I get more cash, I will be able to upgrade, unless I wait for a while for my birthday and get the £250 bundle, hmmm

Re: Buying an M4 (Newby)
I went looking at a Kings Arms Troy A3 CQB and a G&P CQB gun yesterday. Really liked both, but wasn't impressed by the body fit on a few G&P ones Its as if the body needed pushing together by .5mm so you could see the gearbox.
In the end I decided on...a TM CQB recoil shock. My bank account got a nobbling, but at 275fps it was just as good as the higher FPS AEGS. The accuracy was good enough to repeatedly hit a biscuit tin a 30meters and in my garden its striking out to 40meters quite happily with decent bounce back, matching my CA G36 with a TK twist bore barrel and about 340 fps. The new TM hop up unit is amazing. I bought the mag adapter so I can use my old M4 mags as the magazines seem to be in low supply in the UK until the end of the month.

Re: Buying an M4 (Newby)
just wondering age you are if you're like 17 (about to be 18) or older i suggest you wait and get a valid defence for a RIF as after a while you may get sick of a 'sickly' green coloured gun or even a clear one, another bonus is you'll be all the happier because you waited just my 2p
